Getting to know our area
Casa Marathi is located in the historic area of Ancient Minoa where the king of Crete ,Minoas, used to have his country home. The archaeological findings are evidence of it. Marathi cove is in the outstanding Souda Bay , 9 kilometers from the airport and 20 kilometers from the city center of Chania.
In the nearby area there are gas stations, mini markets, pharmacies, Rent-a-car offices and ATMs. In the summer months there is regular bus service to and from the city center.
Chania is a very popular destination visited by thousands of people from all over the world. it is a wonderful city which boasts a big number of sights and the landmark of Chania, the majestic Lighthouse in the Old Harbor.
